All of our jewelry is produced using high quality materials & designed to last. However, like anything worth holding on to, a little TLC will help keep it looking sparkly & new!
18K GOLD VERMEIL & 18K GOLD ON 925 SILVER
We recommend removing all gold coated pieces before exercising, showering or swimming. Apply lotions, perfumes or other cosmetics before putting on your jewels. To clean, gently rub with a soft jewelry cloth. Store in a safe, dry place when not worn, ideally in your Golden Days jewelry bag or box.
9K GOLD & 18K GOLD
Gold jewelry should not oxidize, and can last for generations if treated with the proper care. As gold is a soft metal, avoid knocks or bumps to your jewelry which can dent or scratch the item. Do not wear your jewelry while playing sports, cleaning or gardening, and avoid exposure to chlorine or other chemicals that can discolour or leave a residue. Clean using warm water, detergent-free soap and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Polish using a soft jewelry cloth. Store in a safe, dry and secure place when not worn.
PEARLS
Pearls are sensitive by nature and need to be treated with extra care in order to maintain their lustre. We recommend removing your pearls before exercising, showering or swimming, and make sure to avoid contact with cosmetics or any acidic materials. To clean, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
DIAMONDS
A lab-grown diamond is also forever, and when treated with the right care, will continually maintain its sparkle. Clean using warm water, detergent-free soap and a soft bristled toothbrush. Rinse with clean water once finished to remove any residue.Store in a safe, dry place when not worn, ideally in your Golden Days jewelry bag or box.
